The Athlex Float V2 uses Yamamoto neoprene with a targeted thickness profile to improve buoyancy and body position. The legs feature 4.5mm neoprene to lift the lower body, helping reduce drag and maintain a horizontal position in the water. This is especially beneficial for swimmers whose legs tend to sink during the swim leg of a triathlon. Highly elastic neoprene panels in the shoulders, arms and back improve mobility and stroke efficiency. The suit is finished with an Super Composite Skin (SCS) coating to reduce water resistance and improve hydrodynamics. Hydrophobic materials also assist with faster removal during transition, helping save valuable seconds between swim and bike.
